Jalapeno Poppers Wrapped in Bacon


  • 8 Slices bacon
  • 60 g Cream Cheese (2 oz)
  • 60 g Cheddar Cheese (2 oz) shredded
  • 1 Tsp dried onion flakes


  • First, slice the jalapenos into half lengthways, and remove the seeds.
  • Mix together the cheese, cream cheese and dried onion flakes, and spoon in between the jalapenos
  • Take the slices of bacon, and gently wrap the jalapenos from head to tail. Place on a wire rack in the oven at 180C (355F) for 15-20 mins
  • Turn up the heat on the oven in the last 5 mins, or even put on the broiler (grill) for an extra crispy outer layer if you so desire.
